I went here with my sister and her family after we spent a day at the lake. It was nice to get a seat on the deck overlooking the water. The waitress was very talkative and nice. They were out of a few things but they were the popular German dishes and starters. We did come later in the day so it can be expected. For starters I got German macaroni and cheese which was delicious. Definitely worth getting if they run out of potato pancakes. My sister and her boyfriend got perogies they said it was very good. My niece and nephew got burgers and fries which they loved. I got the best of the wurst platter. It was like a little taste of Germany trying the different meats. The owner was very social walking around talking to the customers. For desert I got sheet cake and it taste amazing, I was very pleased. Overall it was a very nice experience and it was nice to try something different.

The service was outstanding! Very attentive server, the food was good, the restaurant is small but I'm certain it's absolutely a wonderful place in the summer. We will definitely return when we can sit outside. The fact that it's a byob makes it super affordable. But be advised, it's cash only.

Kyle was our waiter, he was kind and attentive. The food was amazing! We had the Polish and German specials as well as the potato pancakes. Can’t wait to come back when the weather is warmer! MAKE A RESERVATION! ATM on site. I was so hungry i forgot to take a pic before I ate! ...

THIS PLACE IS CASH ONLY. We we're not aware on our first trip and had to come back. I stayed classic and got the pork schnitzel which was VERY good! Theresa our waitress is wonderful! Positive energy, and a fast efficient sweetheart! It's also BYOB so we brought some mead and hard root beer. Very good! Looking forward to our next visit and definitely coming back for Octoberfest!

Have heard about it for years! Finally got to try it out tonight! On Schnitzel Night! Had to try the pork platter and a Brat sandwich. Both incredible! Place has a fun, clean, awesome atmosphere. Waitress was great! Two thumbs up! Will be back!

My husband has been wanting German food for ages now and so we popped by Best of the Wurst in Riverside. Super friendly staff and delicious food. Chef came out and chatted us up a bit. Was really nice. Server was super attentive and friendly. Started with the mac & cheese, husband had pork schnitzel and I had a cheesesteak that instead of steak they use chopped kielbasa! (It was salty and cheesy and absolutely delicious). I plan on coming back again to try some more dishes. Cash only but they do have an ATM inside.

A best kept secret in South Jersey! Truly affordable waterfront dining featuring exceptional German fare overlooking the Rancocas Creek. The cuisine is traditional with high quality ingredients, expertly (real chef) prepared and such an outstanding value! It's also a BYOB which is an added plus. German "Mac & cheese" with spatzel delicious. Homemade perogies spot on. The German pancake appetizer is a must! The classic Sauerbraten was outstanding. The Pork schnitzel was perfection. The plank salmon tasty and simple. But, the star selection was the smoked pork chop special with gruyere, ham and fried egg. Fantastic! Kudos to the chef. Warm & friendly service with attention to detail. Don't be fooled by the humble "bric a brac" decor of the dining room (you don't eat decor). The real atmosphere and character of this place is the beautiful view of the Rancocas. Although the Rancocas is not the Rhine, the quality of the food, view, value and service are well worth the trip! A unique and very pleasant dining experience. Cash only. We can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu and dessert!
